Lucy Lawless has a long and distinguished career as an actress and musician in New Zealand. Lucy ended up playing the role as Vanessa Angel after Vanessa was sick and unable to participate in the shooting. Alongside being recognized by fans as Xena Lucy is known for her role as Diane Lewis Swanson from NBC's hit comedy Parks and Recreation where she was on the show from 2012 until 2015.
