Maureen Denise McCormick, the sole daughter of Richard McCormick Irene McCormick, was born in Woodland Hills California on 5 August 1956. She was the home of her mother as a mother. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. McCormick began dancing and singing in her early years and frequently performed puppet shows in front of the kids in her community. The fairytale story of her rise to fame began when she was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 which led to an inquiry from the talent agent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency and asked her if she would like to work in show business. McCormick was offered her first major task when she was cast in the commercial for television that was broadcast in 1964 of Mattels newest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. She subsequently starred as Chatty Cathy in a commercial and was then cast for the show Wind It up and It's Broken by The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned to play the eldest daughter of the trio of towheaded girls on The Brady Bunch. The show featured Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. The show ran for 5 seasons. McCormick in her memoir Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published in 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the 5th season of the television show, she nearly lost her their virginity to brother Barry Williams. The actress was sixteen years old, and the actor 19, at that time. The woman said it might be possible, however it was never the best time to do it.
