Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano and harpsichord for three years. Lennox's budget was increased with a student stipend as well as part-time employment. Lennox was not satisfied with the level of her skills compared to others at Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox played flute in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band before her band was requested to take part in I.T.V.'s talent contest New Faces. She was the lead singer for The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. They met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox was then able to begin work on her solo debut album Diva that was out in 1992. The album was an enormous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was Released on October 31, 2014. The C.D.
